How to Read Deleted WhatsApp Messages

1. Use WhatsApp’s Notification Log:
On Android devices, WhatsApp messages that are deleted after being read might still be visible in your phone’s notification log.
Steps:
- **Android 7.0+:** Go to your home screen, press and hold on an empty space, and select "Widgets."
- Find and drag the "Settings" widget to your home screen.
- Tap on "Settings" and then choose "Notification Log."
- Browse through the log to find any WhatsApp messages.

2. Use WhatsApp Backup:
If you have a recent backup, you may be able to restore it to see deleted messages.
Steps:
- Uninstall WhatsApp from your device.
- Reinstall it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- During setup, choose to restore from the backup when prompted.

3. Use Third-Party Apps:
Some apps claim to recover deleted WhatsApp messages but may require root access or jailbreaking.
Caution: Use reputable sources and understand the risks involved.

4. Check for Exported Chats:
If you previously exported chats, you might be able to view those messages.
Steps:
- Go to the chat you want to export.
- Tap on the three dots (menu) > "More" > "Export chat."
- Choose whether to include media or not.
- Save the exported chat to your email or storage.

5. Contact the Sender:
Ask the sender to resend the deleted message or provide the information again.

General Advice:
- Respect privacy and ethical considerations.
- Regularly back up your chats to avoid future data loss.
